| Resumo: 0 presente estudo foi realizado em 32 caprinos, adultos, Sem Raça Definida (SRD), sendo 16 machos e 16 fêmeas, com propósito de constatar a existência de alteraçoes funcionais renais em caprinos submetidos à aplicaçào intravenosa de hemolisado, através de quantificação dos níveis séricos de uréia e creatinina. Constituiram-se 4 grupos, cada um composto de 8 animais, dos quais 5 foram submetidos a infusao de hemolisado e 3 permaneceram como controle. Nos animais os grupos l, II e III retiraram-se volumes sangüíneos respectivamente a 5, 10 e 15 ml/kg de peso corpóreo. | Abstract The objective of this work was to evaluate the effect of reducing crude protein (CP) contents in diets with a constant metabolizable protein content on the intake, performance, nitrogen balance, and nutrient digestibility of lactating Holstein-Gyr cows. Animals (n = 24, 103±23 days in milk) were allocated to four treatments (n = 6 per group) with different CP contents: 127, 132, 139, and 156 g kg-1 dry matter (DM). DM intake was not affected by treatments. CP intake and digestibility increased linearly with higher CP contents. Milk yield (23.7±3 kg per day) and the percentages of milk protein (3.3±0.2%) and fat (3.8±0.5%) were not affected by CP reduction. | Resumo: O estudo foi realizado na Fazenda Experimental Vale do Acaraú da Universidade Estadual Vale do Acaraú - FAEX, localizada no município de Sobral-CE. Foram utilizadas 40 ovelhas da raça Rabo Largo divididos em dois grupos, os animais do lote suplementado (LSP) tiveram acesso a 300 gramas/cab./dia de feno de leucena (Leucaena leucocephala) durante o período seco e 1% de milho triturado em relação à média de peso vivo durante todo o ano, sendo ajustados semanalmente, além do acesso a água e sal mineral ad libitum. | O presente trabalho foi realizado com o objetivo de avaliar o real potencial da amiréia 1 50S comparada com mistura equivalente em uréia, milho moído e flor de enxofre, como ingredientes em misturas múltiplas para bovinos de corte no pasto; Foram utilizados 40 bezerros sem raça definida, com peso médio de 167 Kg, no período das águas, e 40 bezerros sem raça definida, com peso médio de 285 Kg, no período seco; Os tratamentos foram baseados na amiréia 1 50S e mistura equivalente em milho moído, uréia e flor de enxofre com núcleo mineral e sal, sendo esse em dois níveis para regular consumo. |

| Abstract: The objective of this research was to evaluate the chemical composition and in situ degradability of hay stubble from a maize crop fertilized with 40; 120 or 200 kg N ha-1, ammoniated with urea. To evaluate in situ degradability, 4 g samples were incubated in nylon bags in the rumen of cattle for 6; 24 and 72 hours. The levels of acid detergent fiber (35.4% DM) and acid detergent insoluble nitrogen (18.5% of total N) decreased, resulting in 32.7% of DM and 9.6% of the total N, and crude protein (CP) increased from 5.2 to 9.7% of DM as a result of the ammoniation with urea. | Biological nitrogen fixation (BNF) is an alternative for the supply of N, aiming at reducing production costs and environmental impacts of common bean crops. This work aimed to evaluate the agroeconomic performance of the inoculated common bean subjected to N-fertilizer application at different phenological phases. | O balanço de N nas culturas tem sido pouco estudado e os resultados de pesquisa se referem, geralmente, a apenas um dos aspectos da complexa dinâmica do N no sistema solo-planta-atmosfera por empregar metodologias convencionais que não permitem uma avaliação detalhada dessa dinâmica. A metodologia isotópica (15N) é capaz de acompanhar os destinos do N no solo, pois permite mensurar as taxas específicas, como volatilização, lixiviação, absorção, etc. O projeto visa, na primeira fase, fazer as mensurações das taxas dos processos envolvidos na dinâmica de N nas culturas de trigo e de cana-de-açúcar para calibrar a sua modelagem matemática. | Abstract: Biochar-based nitrogen fertilizers provide productivity and efficiency of nitrogen use gains, but knowledge is scarce about the residual effect for subsequent crops. We evaluated the residual effect of biochar-based nitrogen fertilizers formulated with urea and charcoal fines residues from the coal manufacturing process for the supply of the Brazilian steel park.
