An extended energy balance of Strongylocentrotus droebachiensis is studied. It is established that divergence in the energy balance observed in the experiment is mainly due to discrepancy in the ration volumes in the experiment and under nature conditions as well as taking no account of organic matter in a soluble form. By the method of the main components it is determined that 99% of total variation in the energy balance is caused by the following: changes in the balance parameters in the process of ontogeny peculiarities of the plastic metabolism, variability in the body mass of the animal at a definite age, physiological peculiarities of Strongylocentrotus droebachiensis (O. Промысел тунцов, марлинов и головоногих моллюсков вызвал необходимость исследования своеобразной группы трематод, а именно семейства Didymozoidae (Monticelli, 1888) Poche, 1907. При изучении коллекции дидимозоид от рыб Мирового океана возникли сомнения в правильности существующих взглядов на структуру этого семейства. Дальнейшее исследование имеющегося материала дало основания для проведения анализа и ревизии подсемейства Koellikerinae Ishii, 1935; результаты, в частности относительно родов Wedlia Cobbold, 1860, Koellikeria Cobbold, 1860, и Tricharrhen Poche, 1925, представлены в данной статье. |

В статье описаны 8 новых видов, один подвид и один новый вид трематод семейства Didymozoidae из скумбриевидных рыб, выловленных у Коморских о-вов в 1972 г. В частности, Coelodidymocystis opercularis sp. n. и Wedlia lingualis sp. n. являлись паразитами Thunnus albacares, Didymocystoides komoroensis sp. n., Wedlia musseliusae и Opisthorchinematobothrium nephrodomus sp. n. – Thunnus alalunga, Dermatodidymocystis indicus sp. n. – Thunnus obesus, Unitubulotestis makairi sp. n. – Makaira nigricans, а Didymocystis acanthocybii indicus subsp. n. – Acanthocybium solandri. Некоторые из трематод, выявленных у Thunnus albacares, оказались ранее неизвестными науке и были выделены в новый вид Yamaguticystis arielii gen. et sp. n. |

The article deals with the results of the experiments on determining the Contracaecum aduncum larvae survival in Engraulus encrasicholus ponticus Alexandrov, 1927 treated by the method fish dry salting. 1009 individuals of Black sea anchovy with the invasion intensity from 1 up to 600 larvae of C. aduncum are studied. An increase in salt concentration from 6 up to 12% at a temperature of 8, 12 deg. Celsius reduces the time of C. aduncum larvae survival from 27-24 to 19-16 hours. |

The metabolism rate was studied in squids, octopuses, salps and some crustaceans at their habitat temperatures. The parameters are determined representing a quantitative characteristic of the relation between the metabolism and mass of the animals. It is shown that the metabolism levels are the highest in Cephalopoda class and the lowest in Tunicata subphylum. |

Metabolism and accumulation of Zn65 by the green alga Ulva rigida were studied in connection with its growth by means of experiments and methods of mathematical modelling. A dependence between the Zn65 accumulation and the growth is found in Ulva rigida. It is shown that the Zn65 metabolism in alga is described satisfactorily by the chamber model, where the two chambers show kinetic of the metabolic processes and the third one Zn65 accumulation in the nonexchangeable found in the alga. It is established that zinc uptake for growth may reach 30% of the zinc total amount exchanged by the alga. |

A functional-structural model of fish energy metabolism is developed on the basis of modern ideas of biological systems. Graphic representation is plotted for energy metabolism model of migrating tunnies. The model is shown to be of use when solving a wide range of theoretical and practical problems. The radiocarbon method was used to show the relation of the age of cystoseira the I and II order branches to two important metabolic functions (accumulation of carbon due to the photosynthesis and removal of carbon due to respiration and excretion of organic metabolites). In two cystoseira species carbon photosynthesis and removal at first rises up to maximum with the age and decreases with the branch ageing. Therefore photosynthesis intensity in the I order branches may be determined by a ratio of the young and old branches of the II order in their composition. There exists a directly proportional relationship between the total carbon removal and photosynthesis. |

The analysis of the author's own data and those from literature showed that with the rise of water salinity there occurs a decrease in the number of fresh-water helminths and their change for euryhaline ones and, at last, for the sea species of parasites. The number of helminthes species in sea fishes migrating from the Black sea is 2-3 times as low. Changes in water salinity cause changes not only in the species composition of helminthes but also in the extent and intensity of invasion with their certain species. |
