Changes were studied in the luminescence spectra of "olive-green" algae single cells in normal state and as affected by formalin and 365 and 436 nm radiation. It is shown that the observed visually color of cell luminescence is determined by the presence of the compounds luminescent in the range of 530-550 and 687-690 nm cells fixation with formalin causes changes in the luminescence spectra. The analogous changes are observed during photodestruction of the luminescent intracellular compounds. In the cell radiation spectra no radiation bands belonging to phycobilins are found. The olive-green cells are suggested not to belong to fungi spores as well as to the blue-green or red algae. |

The data on the Sevastopol bay mussels respiration made it possible to find out the character of their oxygen when they were maintained in groups and separately in respirometers of different size. Metabolism rate in mollusks is connected with the volume of experimental vessels and density of the animals in them. Less intensive respiration of mussels in a group taking place in one of the variants of experiments is due to a more than 20% decrease in oxygen tension in water (as compared to the initial one) and to accumulation of metabolism products, which results in prevalence of glycolytic way of energy production in the mussels. Observations and experiments under natural and laboratory conditions established that Stylochus pilidium can almost completely eat away the populations of acorn barnacles during winter in the Sevastopol bay. Young Stylochus which settled in the population of young small acorn barnacles starts eating them away and finds shelter in the house of the next sacrifice. As Stylochus grows it attacks acorn barnacles of ever bigger size. Stylochus lays its eggs in the acorn barnacle house as well. Stylochus displays the parental care. |

The 1800 Oe homogeneous magnetic field intensifies the Artemia salina larvae hatching process and quickens their growth rate. The field inhibits oxygen uptake by the developing Artemia salina M.-Edw., the inhibition being less at the magnet north pole. The larvae hatched in the magnetic field contain less dry substance than those hatched without a magnet. Under different intensities of the magnetic field the Artemia salina M.-Edw., 'magnetic sensitivity' appears to be stronger when influenced by the homogeneous magnetic field rather than by the inhomogeneous one. |

Studies in the system of 14 biotic and 11 abiotic parameters of the marine medium made it possible to establish how the artificial increment of one of these parameters involves changes in the others. Strong exciting parameters are found in the system which are the main regulators. Most excitable and non excitable parameters are determined. The system is found to contain direct positive and negative relations and may be inverse positive and negative relations as well, but to a considerably less extent. |

Дано описание нового рода и вида Paranematobothrium triplouitellatum gen. et. sp. n. из полости тела скумбрии Индийского океана. При обработке коллекции трематод, собранной в 1977 г. в Индийском океане в районе отмели Агульяс (Южная Африка), у скумбрии Scomber scombrus L. обнаружен представитель семейства Didymoz6idae (Monticelli, 1888) Poche, 1907, который оказался не только новым видом, но и родом. |

The article deals with some data characterizing the total number of bacterioplanktonic communities in the Black, Ionian, Sardinian seas and Atlantic Ocean (in the Gibraltar region and in the western sector of the South Atlantic anticyclonic circulation). In the euphotic zone of the Atlantic Ocean region hear the Straits of Gibraltar and in the frontal zone of the western sector of the south Atlantic anticyclonic circulation the total number of bacteria exceeded 1 mill. cell/ml. In the other regions under study the bacterial population of the water thickness was tens and hundreds of thousands of cells per milliliter. The paper deals with activity and some characteristics of a cytoplasmatic fraction of transamination enzymes: alanin and aspartate transaminase (AIAT and AAT). The data obtained evidencing for a relatively high activity of AIAT (AIAT/AAT = 1). High affinity of the enzymes for alpha-ketoglutarate and low affinity for amino acids, aspartate and alanine, is shown. Activity of transferases under condituons of hypoxia is activated 60-120 min after the onset of the effect and then comes to the control level. Copper ions in concentrations of 0.5 and 5.0 mg/l inhibit activity of transferases. |

The data are given on the effect of hypoxia and certain poisons on carbohydrates content in the mussels tissues as well as on the activity of gluconeogenesis enzymes: fructoso-1,6-diphosphatase and glycogen synthetase. Hypoxia and poisons are shown to decrease the glycogen content and to inhibit the enzymes activity, which evidences for the disturbance in the carbohydrate metabolism balance. The degree of the mentioned deviations in the carbohydrate metabolism is different depending on the effect applied and exposition. |

The results are presented of statistical processing of experiments on the influence of long-term effect (101 days) of the bulk plant waste diluted in different proportions by sea water as applied to Gammarus (Marinogammarus) olivii. The regression models are constructed for the dependence of the gammaruses survival rate on the water temperature and experiment duration separately for each dilution and control. It is shown that negative effect of oil pollution on the gammarus survival rate manifests in undiluted waste abd in 1:1 and 1:2 dilutions and on the intensity of nutrition in 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 dilutions. |
