Sulorgilus van Achterberg, 1994, is recorded for the first time from Vietnam and China. It is a monotypic genus of the subfamily Orgilinae (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) with one species described from Sulawesi (Indonesia). A new species, Sulorgilus devriesi Long & van Achterberg, sp. n., is described and illustrated. A key to the species of the genus Sulorgilus is added.

The type species has been reared from a Peleopoda spec. (Lepidoptera: Oecophoridae). The new genus is closely related to the Australian genus Chremylomorpha Belokobylskij, 1986. The genus Atopandrium Graham, 1952 (Alysiinae: Alysiini) is synonymized with Aphaereta Foerster, 1862, Wachsmannia Szépligeti, (September) 1900 (Doryctinae: Doryctini) with Hypodoryctes Kokujev, (August) 1900, and Promachus Cresson, 1887 nec Loew, 1848 (Cenocoeliinae) with Cenocoelius Haliday, 1840. Atopandrium loripenne Graham, 1952, and Trisynaldis conflucta Fischer, 1958, are synonymized with Aphaereta debilitata Morley, 1933. Aphaereta palea (Papp, 1990), Hypodoryctes spathiiformis (Ratzeburg, 1848), and Cenocoelius aartseni (van Achterberg, 1994) are new combinations. A lectotype is designated for Aphaereta debilitata Morley, 1933.
