| Cette réflexion a été réalisée dans le cadre du Bon Etat Ecologique pour la DCSMM (Directive Cadre pour la Stratégie sur le Milieu Marin). Elle est préalable à la construction d'un indicateur de l'Etat Ecologique des communautés benthiques du domaine profond, pour lesquelles il n'existe rien actuellement. | Le présent rapport, intitulé « Le mercure en Méditerranée Nord occidentale » traite du cycle du mercure naturel et anthropique dans l’écosystème du Golfe du Lion, ses marges et la plaine abyssale adjacente. Il y aborde les niveaux de concentrations de différentes espèces chimiques du mercure, les apports de sources externes, les transformations internes et les tendances spatio-temporelles dans l’atmosphère, les eaux, les sédiments et les organismes vivants. Ce rapport a pour objectif de répondre aux attentes managériales en matière de gestion des eaux. Il fait la synthèse des connaissances et propose des actions en matière de surveillance et de recherche pour la zone considérée. |

| The maritime fisheries and mariculture guidance law passed in 1997 specifies that with the perspective of renegotiation of the common fisheries policy in 2002, a report on the special conditions of inshore fisheries be drawn up by the Government. To do so, the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries entrusted this task to three experts, who are the authors of this report. | Ce guide reprend l'ensemble des métriques proposées dans le cadre de la stratégie de surveillance nationale des écosystèmes benthiques profonds évoquées dans le rapport "mesure de l'état écologique des habitats benthiques du domaine bathyal à partir de l'imagerie optique (Sélection de métrique et proposition d'une stratégie de surveillance = stratégie d'échantillonnage)" (Pedel et al. 2013). | On the French Mediterranean coasts, trawl fishing used to be practiced exclusively with two-sided nets until the middle of the 1970s. The adoption of four-sided trawls has changed the composition of species and sizes of the trawlers'catches in this area. Experimental fisheries conducted in the Gulf of Lion on board a research vessel belonging to the IFREMER enabled the study of the selectivity parameters of a four-sided bottom trawl with a wrapping double-pocket. Three pockets of different meshes were tried out on various demersal and pelagic species. The collected data was processed through different selectivity analysis methods. Presented here is an assessment of the relative efficiency of each of these seven methods. |
