| Trifolium alexandrinum L. De heer J. Duvigneaud (Marchienne-au-Pont, België) deelt ons mede, dat hij deze soort, die door ons voor het eerst voor Nederland werd opgegeven in Gorteria 1, 1962, p. 25, op 29 okt. 1961 vond achter de zeedijk bij Cadzand (det. J. Lambinon). v. O. en R. Parentucellia viscosa (L.) Caruel. Naar aanleiding van de opmerking van De Jongh over Parentucellia in Gorteria 1, afl. 5, p. 39 kan ik het volgende mededelen: In de Wieringermeerpolder heeft Parentucellia viscosa de inundatie overleefd. In de jaren 1951-55 was de soort vrij talrijk op enkele plaatsen langs de weg van Slootdorp naar de Haukes. | From the many misidentifications in herbaria and the contradictions between the descriptions of many authors it became evident that the species of Trichomanes included by Desvaux, Presl, van den Bosch and Copeland under the generic name Didymoglossum and those included by Presl, van den Bosch and Copeland under the name Microgonium were particularly poorly understood. A complete revision of this group has never been undertaken. LINDMAN’s paper (1903) is incomplete, being based only on the study of about 30 herbarium sheets; moreover, his conclusions are based on misinterpretation of several species. | De jaarlijkse zomerexcursie van de Commissie voor het Floristisch Onderzoek van Nederland werd gehouden van 17 tot 22 juli 1961, met als standplaats Vlijmen. Het aantal deelnemers bedroeg 17, en doordat er een voldoend aantal auto’s ter beschikking was en de excursie enige malen gesplitst werd, was het bestreken terrein groter dan vroeger ooit het geval was en kon daardoor het record-aantal van 661 soorten en variëteiten genoteerd worden. Op 17 juli ’s middags werd als gebruikelijk de naaste omgeving van het hotel (I.V.O.N.-uurhok 45-31) verkend. | During August 1961 I received from Mr. E. Roloff (Karlsruhe, Germany), a well-known aquarist, three specimens of an unidentified Rivulus. The specimens were collected by Mr. Roloff during his journey to Ecuador early 1961. The sampling place is described by him in the followinig words: „Die Rivulus stammen aus einem kleinen, sehr schattigen Bach, der in die Lagune von Limoncocha mündet. Das Wasser ist sehr weich (etwa 1° DH) und hat eine Temperatur von etwa 26° Celcius, die sich natürlich zeitweilig noch erhöht. SCHEER, Officer in Charge of the Weather Station at Tristan da Cunha in the years 1958—1960. The collection consists of 13 specimens from Tristan, 23 from Nightingale Island and 7 from Inaccessible Island, as well as 7 from Gough Island. A total of 22 species is represented. | Unter früheiszeitlichen Knochen, die als von Menschenhand zerbrochen erkannt und beschrieben wurden (Lüttschwager und van Bemmel, 1962) befindet sich auch ein Tibiarest eines Hirsches, Cervus teguliensis Dubois. Auf ihm sieht man eine Linienzeichnung, in der man die Wiedergabe eines Tieres erkennen mag. Da die gesamten Knochenfunde nachweisbar aus sehr frühen eiszeitlichen Schichten und Ablagerungen stammen, vermutete man bisher in diesen Linien nicht Spuren einer menschlichen Tätigkeit; jedenfalls wurde solche Vermutung nicht schriftlich geäussert, obwohl Abbildungen des Fundes schon vorliegen (Kunst, 1937). |

| In a previous paper (GADELLA, 1961) I suggested that the basic chromosome number of the Loganioideae might possibly be x = 6. The chromosome number of Anthocleista djalonensis Chev. (2n = 60) was in accordance with this supposition. Further investigations in the Loganiaceae, however, are highly desirable. This paper deals with the chromosome numbers of 7 species of Loganiaceae. (2) 21, p. 80) in 1854 for BURMEISTER’S Diastatomma campanulata from Brazil, is represented in Surinam by two species only: Z. batesi Selys 1869 and Z. calippus Selys 1869. | Catapodium marinum (L.) Hubbard has its northern limit on the continent in the Netherlands. Up to now it was known here from 4 localities only. In 1960 the author discovered two new and very rich localities on the isle of Walcheren between Domburg and Westkapelle. It is supposed that the plants have reached one of these localities as a result of the inundation after the great flood of 1953, and the other with rubble from Westkapelle, which village was destroyed during World War II, and inundated afterwards. |
