| The study was developed in order to analyze the phytosociology and diametric distribution in a cerrado fragment with 7.5 ha located in the south of Tocantins. Six plots of 20x10m (200 sq m) were allocated, which were sampled every shrub-tree individuals with Circumference at Breast Height (CBH) larger than 9.5 cm. 486 individuals were registred, of which 454 are alive and 32 dead, distributed in 53 species, 50 genera and 29 families. The six most important species were Psidium catteleyanum, Astronium fraxinifolium, Tapirira guianensis, Qualea multiflora, Qualea grandiflora and Byrsonima stipulacea, totalizing 34.67% of the total IVI. | Knowledge of the digestibility coefficients enables the preparation of rations that meet the nutritional requirements of animals through the knowledge of the use of nutrients in foods. The aim of this study was to determine the digestibility coefficients of crude protein from poultry by-product meal and tilapia filleting by-product meal for piavuçu (Leporinus macrocephalus) juveniles. A total of 60 piavuçu juvenile with initial average weight of 75.05 ± 12.62 g, were distributed in three collecting tanks with capacity of 90 liters for feces collect. | A redução da área foliar é uma das causas da queda de produção em feijoeiro comum. O objetivo deste trabalho foi verificar a influência de diferentes níveis de desfolha em vários estádios de desenvolvimento sobre a produtividade, massa de 100 sementes e número de vagens por planta do feijoeiro comum da cultivar Carioca Precoce, em condições de campo no Sul do Espírito Santo. Utilizou-se o delineamento em blocos casualizados, com parcelas subdivididas, em cinco repetições. | The vine, when studied in different places and years, allow extensive conclusion on cultural adaptation in a specific region. The objective of this research was to evaluate two rootstocks and three cultivars of rustic grapes under bench grafting at Toledo and Ouro Verde do Oeste (Paraná State, Brazil). | The objective of this work was to analyze and to describe the influence of aqueous extracts of S. terebinthifolius Raddi over achenes and the growth of seedlings of lettuce cv. ‘Branca de Boston’. The extract was acquired from plants collected in the campus of UFPel. The essays were accomplished at laboratory, and the concentrations were zero, 50 and 100% of aqueous extracts of leaves (vegetal fresh material, w/v). The objective of this work was to study the effect of aqueous extracts of Ocimum basilicum, Baccharis trimera and Cnicus benedictus on mycelial growth of plant pathogens. In this work we carried out the diagnosis of control disease and insect pest mites through a questionnaire covering 10% of grape growers in the municipalities of Bandeirantes and 5% Marialva. | This study aimed to evaluate the effects of diets supplemented with natural or rúmen-protected lipid source on plasma cortisol concentration, animal reactivity and stress of feedlot cattle. | The objective of this work was to evaluate the effect of rates of potassium in top-dressing on yield and quality of cauliflower cultivar Teresópolis Gigante. The experiment was conducted at São Manuel Experimental Farm, from UNESP/FCA, from April to August 2006. Five treatments (0; 50; 100; 150 and 200 kg ha-1 of K2O in top-dressing) were evaluated at randomized blocks design, with five replicates and ten plants per plot. | This study aimed to evaluate the effect of canola extracts obtained by different forms of extraction (alcohol, macerated, watery without reservation time and infusion), in control of Botrytis cinerea in vitro and gray mold in post-harvest strawberries cv. Camarosa. First, the experiment has been conducted in laboratory, using completely randomized design (DIC) with incomplete factorial scheme 2 x (4 or 3).
