| Voor een duurzame samenwerking in de biologische varkenskolom is inzicht nodig in de kostenstructuur. Dit jaarlijkse kostenprijsonderzoek is uitgevoerd binnen Bioconnect en begeleid door twee biologische varkenshouders. Aan het einde van het project is er een expertsessie geweest met meerdere schakels en stakeholders uit de biologische varkensketen. Deze kostprijsberekening voor biologische varkens en biggen is de elfde op rij. De methodiek is gelijk aan de voorgaande berekeningen over het jaar 2007 en de periode oktober 2007- september 2008. | Der ökologische Landbau steht im Rampenlicht der öffentlichen Diskussion. In Deutschland hat sich die gesamte ökologisch bewirtschaftete Fläche in den vergangenen 10 Jahren mehr als verzehnfacht und liegt gegenwärtig bei 3,2 %. | A network of 42 sheep farms (including 13 in organic farming (OF)) shows that the gross margin per ewe is 24% lower in OF in the mountains because of high food costs and comparable in the lowlands because of the high level of food self-sufficiency based on the cultivation of fodder and grain; incomes are identical when structural costs are comparable. An analysis of four demonstration farms shows that, given the different conditions, specific livestock management is required depending on the presence of tillable land or not. | Der biologische Landbau in der Schweiz verzeichnete vor allem im Zeitraum zwischen 1990 und 2005 ein grosses Wachstum und hat sich in der Landwirtschaft und bei den Konsumenten etabliert. Deutlich untervertreten sind die Biobetriebe jedoch in den Ackerbauregionen, was sicherlich auf die im Vergleich zum Grünland meist höheren Anforderungenrungen an die Betriebsumstellung zurückzuführen ist. | Die Umstellung auf ökologischen Landbau ist für die Mehrzahl der geförderten Betriebe erfolgreich verlaufen. Die Wirtschaftlichkeit der Umstellung wird allerdings deutlich von der Förderprämie und den Vermarktungsmöglichkeiten beeinflusst. Aufgrund von vergleichsweise günstigeren Vermarktungsbedingungen für pflanzliche Produkte haben Marktfruchtbetriebe in der Vergangenheit von der Umstellung besonders profitiert. | Im Rahmen des SPP-U-Projektes Nachhaltige Landwirtschaft wurde ein Bewertungsmodell (PI-model) zur Beurteilung der potentiellen Belastungen des Natur- und Landschaftshaushalts durch die landwirtschaftliche Nutzung entwickelt. Das Ziel war, die Wirkungen der Landwirtschaft auf die Landschaft abzubilden, und zwar mit einem einem regionalen Betrachtungsansatz. Das PI-model berücksichtigt die folgenden Aspekte: Abflussregulation, Grundwasserneubildung, Nitratauswaschung, Bodenerosion, Bodenverdichtung, Arten- und Biotopschutz (Biodiversität) und Landschaftsbild.
