| Dans les 25 masses d’eau côtières retenues au titre du contrôle de surveillance (sur 39 au total), la surveillance DCE 2010 a porté sur les paramètres suivants : -température, salinité, turbidité, oxygène dissous, nutriments (nitrate, nitrite, phosphate, ammonium, silicate); - phytoplancton (qui est suivi aussi dans 5 masses d’eau de transition non turbides) ; - macroalgues benthiques en zones intertidale (façade) et subtidale (Pays de la Loire) ; - blooms de macroalgues ; - herbiers de Zostera marina ; - invertébrés benthiques de substrat meuble en zones intertidale et subtidale. | Le, fortes pluies de printemps ont provoqué un enrichissement et une dessalure des eaux superficielles côtières ; à cette stratification haline est venue s'ajouter, dès le début de l'été, une stratification thermique importante. Début avril, les conditions de milieu onc été optimales pour déterminer l'efflorescence printanière à diatomées Skeletonema costatum responsable de la couleur marron prise par l'eau de mer. | An investigation was carried out into the PAH chemical contamination resulting from the "Erika" tanker fuel spillage of December 1999 along the French coast of the Bay of Biscay. A qualitative and quantitative assessment was conducted of this contamination in water, suspended particulate matter, sediments, and in intertidal molluscs. The chemical composition of PAHs in pre-spill and post-spill samples was determined and used to distinguish the "Erika's" fuel as the source of PAHs in the coastal environment of the Bay of Biscay. | Analysis of local hydrological and climatic factors help to determine basic conditions for blooms and red tides in Vilaine Bay during summer 1983. Spring or late summer heavy rainfalls produce nutrients increase and low salinities in coastal surface waters. It causes sharp saline stratification, enhanced or destroyed by winds, according to their direction and intensity. | The study of Cd and Hg distribution in the sediments, water and suspended matter of the Bay of Marennes-Oléron provided the opportunity to identify the factors governing the distribution of these two contaminants throughout the bay. On one hand, these elements are associated with the continental inputs from the Charente river which settle on arrivaI at the mouth of the estuary and in the eastern part of the bay. | Values of nitrogen nutrients (ammonia, nitrite and nitrate) are compared with values of total organic nitrogen and urea. In summer, the consumation by micro and macrophytes is added to less important telluric input of nineral nitroge. However, an important provision of organic nitrogen remains. On the contrary, in winter, organic nitrogen does not represent more than 10% of total nitrogen. | Le contrôle de surveillance 2013 pour la DCE appliquée dans les eaux littorales de Loire Bretagne a porté sur les 25 masses d’eau côtières (sur 39 au total) et les 16 masses d’eau de transition (sur 30 au total) retenues au titre du contrôle de surveillance. L’ensemble des résultats acquis, aussi bien sur les paramètres biologiques que chimiques, a permis de mettre à jour l’évaluation de l’état des masses d’eau affiché sur l’atlas DCE accessible sur la page web d’Envlit correspondante. |

| After determining the seasonal features of the hydrobiology of the Marennes-Oléron's estuarine complex in 1976 and 1977 (Héral et al, 1983), based on seasonal campaigns conducted in 15 stations sampled in a tide half-cycle, it was proposed to monitor 5 stations spread out over the entire basin (figure 1) as part of the National Observation Network (RNO) with two monthly samples taken, one at neap tide, the other at spring tide. | As a part of hydrological sampLing operation in South Brittany, 8 transects for 26 sampling stations were made in order to determine horizontal, and vertical distribution of Dinophysis sacculus in the 10 m layer. Un like to 1986, results do not show any correlations between Dinophysis concentrations and stability index. That may, nevertheless, be due to lower cells densities in 1987 when compared to 1986. A thermal, gradient, lower than in 1986, is still observable in the Bouthern of Loire Mouth. And, as a last point, when chlorophyll a concentrations are higher in - 10 m layer than in surface layer (Audierne and Noirmoutier areas), it can be observed hight densities of an other toxie Dinoflagellate : Gyrodinium aureolum . |

| In 1985 the spring bloom of the diatom Skeletonema costatum did not show a brown discoloration of superficial waters like in 1983 and 1984. Somme factors being unfavorable between mid march and mid april , low sea water temperature, high frequency of moderate and strong winds, rough sea. | Des matières solides séchées sont minéralisées en bombe fermée par un mélange d'acide nitrique, d'acide chlorhydrique et d'acide fluorhydrique à environ 120 °C pendant 180 minutes. Cette attaque acide est totale et le minéralisat liquide obtenu est analysé pour sa teneur en métaux par absorption atomique avec ou sans flamme. C'est une méthode très sensible puisqu'elle permet de détecter dans des particules jusqu'à 0,35 % d'Al; 0,15 % de Fe, 0,1 mg/kg de Cd, 2 mg/kg de Co, 0,4 mg/kg de Cr, 2 mg/kg de Cu, 0,4 mg/kg de Mn, 2 mg/kg de Ni, 2 mg/kg de Pb, 0,1 mg/kg de Zn.
