| Ressalta-se a necessidade de ocupar espacos agricolas, em funcao do crescimento da populacao mundial e, particularmente, da regiao Centro-Oeste do pais. Sao descritas, superficialmente, as caracteristicas dos cerrados, com vantagem em relacao ao Norte e Nordeste; tambem sao apresentados os principais aspectos limitantes a sua ocupacao e utilizacao. Sao esbocadas conclusoes que: vinte e cinco anos e o prazo maximo para a ocupacao plena dos cerrados; essa ocupacao deve levar em conta as diferencas entre sub-regioes, pelo menos em tres faixas ou paralelos; ela deve se dar em termos agrossilvipastoris; numa acao, nao por produto mas a nivel de estabelecimento ou propriedade. | RESUMO: O objetivo deste trabalho foi caracterizar, de forma participativa, o agroecossistema local da área do grupo coletivo Carajás do Assentamento Cunha, em Cidade Ocidental, GO, considerando aspectos relacionados à agrobiodiversidade e práticas agroecológicas, características ambientais, socioculturais, econômicas e organizacionais. As atividades produtivas são diversificadas e o grupo coletivo planta culturas anuais, hortaliças, frutas, além de criar gado de leite, galinhas e abelhas. | RESUMO: Neste trabalho, são apresentados os procedimentos e os resultados do Diagnóstico Rápido e Dialogado (DRD) de três assentamentos de reforma agrária. O DRD faz parte do método proposto pelo projeto "Adaptação e utilização de dispositivo metodológico participativo para apoiar o desenvolvimento sustentável de assentamentos de reforma agrária". Esse projeto, comumente chamado de Projeto Unaí, está sendo executado no Município de Unaí, MG, pela Embrapa Cerrados, pela Universidade de Brasília (UnB), pelo INCRA e financiado pelo CNPq. | This paper aimed to evaluate the technical efficiency of milk producers in the Projeto de Assentamento (PA) Feliz União, municipality of Lagoa Grande, MG. To this collected data to some of the milk production of 23 settlers in 2007 and later was used as analytical tools used Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) to assess the technical efficiency of producers. The results show that the majority of producers (84%) are technically inefficient. Of inefficient farmers, 87% are operating under increasing returns to scale and 13% operating under diminishing returns to scale. Analyzing it is efficient and inefficient producers are mainly realizes that efficient producers are more intensive factor in the labor force and have herd dairy specialist for the activity.... |
