| • In order to assess the sustainability of fish resources in the Natural Marine Park of Mayotte (Western Indian Ocean), indicators and monitoring protocols must be determined. • This study relied on the underwater video technique STAVIRO for assessing fish communities and resources. A pilot survey was conducted in Nov. 2014 in the south-east quarter of the Mayotte lagoon, an area encompassing the marine reserves of Longogori, M’Bouzi and the Saziley Marine Park. Out of 115 stations collected, 104 were analysed for habitat and fish, based on a list of 527 species with fishing, ecological, or emblematic interest (cf. | Nutrients levels of marine water along the North of France coastline are growing-up. They have a good chance to become a problem in the future. Since 1992, a network of three radial lines is sampled at regular interval to supervise on long term : 1. Parameters levels that show the environment quality (temperature, salinity, turbidity,total suspended matters, organic suspended matters, chlorophyll, phaeopigments, phytoplankton). 2. Nutrients concentrations ( ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, phosphate, silicate) that enrich the environment , and may be responsable of its deterioration. The report shows the results of the first three years survey. I t strikes a correlation between the tested parameters and takes stock of the present situation. |

| • Conducted within the AMBIO project, this work deals with coral reef fish communities and associated habitats, in the New Caledonian lagoons. It aims at assessing the status and trends of habitats and mobile macrofauna in the Voh-Kone-Pouembout lagoon, in the light of demographic and industrial developments and accounting for the existing customary reserve of Oundjo. • It relies on 280 stations collected in 2007 and 2013 using the remote unbaited underwater video STAVIRO rotating technique, which were analysed to characterize habitat, fish assemblages, turtles and sea snakes, from a list of 490 species (AMBIO/A/1). • 143 species (including one turtle species and one sea snake species), belonging to 23 families were observed.
