Flora composition and plant community structures are comparatively characterized for the Sevastopol bay over a period of 1967-1977. It is found that for recent 10 years the algae flora tends to reducing poly- and mesosaprobic species, which is associated with some improvement of sanitary conditions in the bay. At the same time the range of mesosaprobic species, such as Ulva rigida Ag., Enteromorpha linza (L.)J. Ag., Chaetomorpha chlorotica (Mont.) Kutz., etc., which now can be observed in all open parts of the Sevastopol bay, expanded. For the period under comparison the most vital changes are registered in the head of the Severnaya and Kamyshovaya bays where a fundamental reconstruction occurred in the phytocenosis structure toward its simplification... |
