| Было изучено влияние размера и концентрации диатомовых и перидиниевых водорослей на потребление ими растворенных органическх соединений при изменении в широком диапазоне физических и химических факторов экспериментальной среды (концентрации фосфатов, нитратов, растворенного органического вещества, интенсивности освещения, температуры). Увеличение как самих объемов клеток, так и их концентрации в среде приводит к снижению «средней» способности видов потреблять растворенные органические соединения морской воды. |

| The application of the method of basic components to a simultaneous consideration of parameters reflecting the behavioural characteristics of locomotory activity under a variable regime of swimming, size-weight peculiarities in copepods and external conditions close to natural ones has revealed an individual locomotory character of each of the species and common features peculiar to the species groups. It is shown possible to give an objective estimate of the copepods locomotion character through an example of 8 species, different in habitat, and in one and the same species from different populations. | The article deals with a review of significance tests for estimating agreement of sampling distributions with the normal, logarithmicaly-normal and gamma-distributions. The tests based on the momentum ratios and also on the tests of Shapiro-Wilk, Shapiro-Francia, D'Agostino, Dahija-Gurland, Jackson, Cox are considered; the graphical representation of probabilities is given. The means of estimating parameters of the considered distributions by the maximum likelihood method are presented. |

| On the basis of long-term studies (1966-1969) of the mammals and fishes in the Okhotsk and Bering Seas by means of different significance tests (Shapiro-Wilk, D'Agostino, Wilk-Shapiro, Jackson) it is shown that the frequency distributions for Sr90 concentrations in bones, muscles and whole organisms of these animals may be described by both the logarithmical-normal distribution and gamma-distribution. The best agreement was with the latter distribution. |
