Studies in the system of 14 biotic and 11 abiotic parameters of the marine medium made it possible to establish how the artificial increment of one of these parameters involves changes in the others. Strong exciting parameters are found in the system which are the main regulators. Most excitable and non excitable parameters are determined. The system is found to contain direct positive and negative relations and may be inverse positive and negative relations as well, but to a considerably less extent. Э.. The processes of micro- and macrofouling on objects submerged into the sea are statistically analyzed. Hypothesis on independence of factors are checked up using Kulbak's information measure. It is noted that all the factors are connected into a single system and neither of them could be distinguished for a simplified consideration of the fouling processes.
