On basis of SCUBA samples obtained in summer period of 1989 on the depth up to 25 m, the distribution on macrobenthos in the region of intensive development of Mytilus mariculture is described. In order to select biocartography methods, which are most adequate for purposes of planned ecological monitoring, 14 variants of classification are tested (by dominants, by faunistic composition, structural on the basis of Czekanowski indices, Euclidian and MacNaughton — Smith distances by means of absolute and relative biomass values, for total and reduced on 2/3 massive of observations).
