Two fascicles sent to Carl Linnaeus by Frédéric-Louis Allamand, and the folder in which the fascicles were kept. Fascicle 1 contains a full title page ('Friderici Allamand | Genera | Plantarum Americanarum | nova 30 | eorumque | characteres naturales | et | species .37.'), a letter from Allamand to Linnaeus (on the verso of the title page), and 'Species Generum Novorum'; fascicle 2 contains 'Genera Nova'.
