Three physical-mathematical models were appraised starting from data of temperature of the air for the estimate of the relative humidity of the air for the area of Muriaé, MG. The estimates were compared with data obtained in the automatic station during the period of three months (10/09/2006 to 10/12/2006). The results of the models of relative humidity of the air presented determination coefficients (r2) high when compared with the observed values, the model that more it was adjusted to the analyzed data was the model UR2, that has as entrance variables the temperature of the hourly dew point, hourly minimum temperature and the hourly medium temperature.

The techniques of remote sensing have been applied extensively for obtaining the information regarding the management of the natural resources. The SEBAL is an algorithm that has as advantage the capability to estimate the energy fluxes from the soil surface in an effective and economical way. This work was carried out to estimate the radiation balance and the soil heat flux in regional scale by means of the SEBAL algorithm (Surface Energy Balance Algorithm for Land) and Landsat 5 images TM. The estimates of the radiation balance (Rn) and soil heat flux (G) for the 06/07/2003 presented average values in the scene of 548.57 Wm-2 and 47.48 Wm-2, respectively.
