Interactions of Saflufenacil with Other Herbicides Promoters of Oxidative Stress to Control Joyweed1 Planta Daninha
TREZZI,M.M.; DIESEL,F.; KRUSE,N.D.; XAVIER,E.; PAZUCH,D.; PAGNONCELLI JR.,F.; BATISTEL,S.C..
ABSTRACT This study was conducted to evaluate the efficacy of joyweed (Alternanthera tenella) control and antagonistic or synergistic potentials of saflufenacil herbicide applied alone or tank mixed with paraquat, metribuzin and clomazone. The experiment was conducted in a greenhouse in a completely randomized design with four replications. Treatments consisted of saflufenacil herbicide doses (0, 0.4, 0.7, 1.4, 2.1 and 2.8 g ha-1) applied isolated or associated with paraquat (0, 1 and 3 g ha-1), metribuzin (0, 38.4 and 105.6 g ha-1) or clomazone (0, 288 and 504 g ha-1). Visual control was determined at 14 and 21 days after spraying the herbicides (DAA) and shoots dry matter at 21 DAA. Colby's method was used to calculate the response from herbicide...

Interference of Broadleaf Buttonweed and White-Eye in Soybean Planta Daninha
DIESEL,F.; TREZZI,M.M.; GALLON,M.; MIZERSKI,P.H.F.; BATISTEL,S.C.; PAGNONCELLI,F.B..
ABSTRACT: Weed species is one of the factors contributing to grain yield losses due to crop-weed competition. Two of the most common weeds of soybean fields in Brazil are from the Rubiaceae family: Borreria latifolia and Richardia brasiliensis. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of B. latifolia and R. brasiliensis on plant development, yield components, and soybean productivity. Two assays were conducted in a randomized block design with four replications, using a two-level factorial design, in which the first factor consisted of the species B. latifolia and R. brasiliensis and the second factor consisted of the densities 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 plants m-2. Plant height, leaf area and total chlorophyll in the V6 and R5 stages, number of pods per...
