Book. The poster deals with an often mentioned bioenergy plant - Jatopha curcas. The potential of the plant as a sustainable energy source has been hampered by toxicity of its oil and protein rich seeds. The research done by our group describes a simple process for detoxification of the protein rich Jatropha meal thereby making it suitable for animal feed. The process will accelerate use of Jatropha as an energy and feed source thereby enhancing its economic viability.
