| ABSTRACT: The aim of the present study was to evaluate the accumulation of carbohydrates, protein, and proline as well as the activity of the antioxidant enzymes superoxide dismutase and catalase in the Ambiance cultivar of cut rose plants grown with the application of physiological effect products in the Sub-Middle São Francisco River Valley in Brazil. The experiment was performed under a mesh screen with 50% shading. | Em se tratando do crisântemo de vaso, que constitui relevante contribuição à atividade de plantas ornamentais, ainda há necessidade de uma recomendação consistente sobre a condutividade elétrica (CE) da solução nutritiva para seu cultivo. Nesse sentido, realizou-se um experimento em ambiente protegido, objetivando avaliar o crescimento do crisântemo cv. Miramar cultivado em vaso, em função da CE da solução nutritiva e da lixiviação de sais do substrato. | The quality of ornamental plants grown in pots is highly dependent on fertilization and substrate management. To this effect, we carried out an experiment in a protected environment to evaluate the nutritional status of the chrysanthemum cv. Miramar grown in pots, relative to the electrical conductivity of the nutrient solution and the leaching of salts. | A castanha-do-gurguéia (Dipteryx lacunifera Ducke), também conhecida como fava-de-morcego e garampara é uma planta pertencente à família Leguminosae, encontrada na região Meio-Norte do Brasil. A exploração é feita de forma artesanal, demandando, entre outras necessidades, pesquisas relacionadas à nutrição na fase de produção de mudas. Nesse sentido, foi desenvolvido experimento objetivando avaliar as características biométricas na produção de mudas de castanha-do-gurguéia, submetidas a doses de N e substrato sem e com calcário e PK.
