| The repopulation of the oyster deposits of the Auray River seems to take place with a lot less intensity downstream than upstream. One might take into account the fact that the bottom of the oyster part of the river (Ours, Rohello, Loqueltas banks) counts less adult oysters than the top (Rosnarho, Plessis, Marie, Sainte-Avoye banks). But one must also note that the deposits stand next to each other and that the top of the most upstream bank is only 5 kilometres away from the bottom of the most downstream one. Consequently, the oyster larvae from the "abounding" part of the river can easily, thanks to the currents, go and fix in the "poorer" part. [...] |

| Les investigations annuelles relatives à la production du naissain dans le Morbihan furent poursuivies pendant les mois de juin, juillet et août 1928. Grâce à l'obligeance de M. LE GOUAR, Administrateur de l'Inscription Maritime à Auray, et à la collaboration de M. RAPHENNE, Chef de la Station ostréicole d'Auray, de M. THIÉBLEMONT, Président du Syndicat ostréicole du Morbihan, des observations méthodiques purent être exécutées journellement en plusieurs points des rivières d'Auray et de la Trinité (ou du Crach). Les observations portèrent sur la température et la densité de l'eau, sur la ponte des huîtres (ostrea edulis), sur la fixation et la croissance du naissain. [OCR NON CONTRÔLE] |
