| O uso eficiente da água na irrigação localizada dependerá, além de outros fatores, também do correto monitoramento da água no solo. Portanto, este trabalho teve como objetivo caracterizar as zonas efetivas de comprimento de raízes e de extração de água, bem como indicar o correto posicionamento de sensores de água no solo para o manejo da irrigação por gotejamento na bananeira em fase de produção. | Abstract This study aimed to evaluate Pome type bananas grown under different irrigation systems. Seventy-two treatments were used in a factorial 3×2×12 scheme, where factors consisted of three irrigation systems (under-tree sprinkling, micro-sprinkling, and dripping), two cultivars (‘Prata-Anã‘ and ‘BRS Platina’), and twelve evaluation periods (months). The treatments were arranged in a completely randomized design with five repetitions. During the third production cycle, plant phytotechnical and physiological traits were evaluated in different months at five different times of the day. | ABSTRACT With the limited availability of water in semi-arid regions, it is necessary that irrigation is accurate and there is high water use efficiency. This study aimed to evaluate the regulated deficit irrigation (RDI) and partial rootzone drying (PRD) in yield, water use efficiency and gas exchange of ‘Tommy Atkins’ mango tree in semi-arid conditions. | The Fertigation is the combined application of water and nutrients to a crop. It can be adapted to all types of agricultural crops. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of urea concentration in irrigation water on electrical conductivity of the soil solution and saturation extract along the first cycle of banana cv. | The present study had as its main objective the evaluation of the heat balance method in young orange and mango plants under protected environment. The work was carried out at Embrapa Cassava and Tropical Fruits, Cruz das Almas, BA. Later on, estimates of sap flow were conducted for two mango plants cultivated in pots of 15 and 50 L installed on weighting platforms of 45 and 140 kg; sap flow was determined in three orange plants, two of which were also installed on weighing platforms. | Com este trabalho, objetivou-se avaliar o desempenho de diferentes modelos matemáticos para ajuste dos dados de umidade, em função da constante dielétrica aparente do solo, e a viabilidade de uso de guias de onda de duas e três hastes, com diferentes espaçamentos. Amostras de solo deformadas foram acondicionadas em segmentos de tubos de PVC de 0,075 m de diâmetro. | The aim of this study was to evaluate the 'Tommy Atkins' mango yield and photosynthesis in regulated deficit irrigation (RDI) in semiarid conditions of Bahia, Brazil. | O trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar a relação entre a umidade e a constante dielétrica aparente do solo e diferentes guias de onda para uso com o analisador de umidade Trase, que opera de acordo com o princípio da reflectometria no domínio do tempo - TDR. | Através de modelos que relacionam umidade (teta), condutividade elétrica aparente do solo (CEa) e condutividade elétrica da solução do solo (CEw), objetivou-se avaliar, para condição de laboratório, a viabilidade de se estimar a concentração de potássio na solução do solo (K), para solos de classe textural franca (CTf) e franco-arenosa (CTfa). | ABSTRACT The purpose of the study was to evaluate the effect of salinity levels of irrigation water on physiology and growth of banana cultivars during the vegetative stage.
