Objective: To perform an anatomical and radiographic study of the cross-sectional area of the main lendotls of the distal forelimb, aiming to contribute 10 clinical and surgical practice and 10 understand the greater resistance of these animals 10 lesions When compared to horses. Material and Method: The forelimb of 15 donkeys of different genderand age were studied. Mean bodyweight was 150kg and the animals were fed large volume meals and used for traction. After removal of the limbs, a lateromedial radiographic projection was obtained. The anatomical specimens Were then fixated in 10%formalin solution and the tendotls were dissected.
