| Objetivou-se, com este trabalho, avaliar o cultivo de cultivares de alface em sistema hidropônico tipo floating com soluções nutritivas otimizadas pela ferramenta SOLVER, do Microsoft Office Excel. O experimento foi conduzido no Centro de Ciências Agrárias e Ambientais da Universidade Estadual da Paraíba adotando-se o delineamento experimental inteiramente casualizado disposto em esquema fatorial 4 x 3, com três repetições. | ABSTRACT The objective of this study was to evaluate the growth of crisp lettuce in hydroponic cultivation, following the nutrient film technique (NFT), using optimized mineral and organomineral nutrient solutions. The experiment was set in 8 x 3 factorial scheme, with treatments distributed in randomized blocks and split plots, with three replicates. The plots corresponded to eight nutrient solutions, of which four were mineral solutions with chemical composition suggested by Bernardes, Furlani, Castellane & Araújo and Ueda, and four were organomineral solutions, suggested by this research with chemical composition similar to those of the previously mentioned mineral solutions. | ABSTRACT The study was conducted to evaluate the effect of mineral fertilization on the growth and production of seeds and oil of castor bean (Ricinus communis L.) lineage UFRB 222. The experiment was carried out in a greenhouse of the Centro de Tecnologia e Recursos Naturais at the Universidade Federal de Campina Grande, PB, Brazil. A randomized block design with three repetitions and 14 treatments originated from a Baconian matrix was adopted. Reference doses were 50:300:150 kg ha-1 of N, P2O5 and K2O. | ABSTRACT Sesame is an oilseed that has low demand of water; it is widely grown in tropical regions, but few studies had been conducted on its mineral nutrition. The objective of this study was to evaluate physiological and production variables of two sesame genotypes (BRS-Seda and Preto) varying the organomineral fertilizer doses, via fertigation. The genotypes were grown under field conditions during the 2014/2015 dry season, in an agricultural area in Lagoa Seca, PB, Brazil.
