The harvest with raw cane is increasingly present in the system of production of sugar cane in Brazil. This article presents a case study of a large international company in the sector of distribution of food, specializing in the supply of frozen potatoes, established in Brazil in the city of Sao Paulo. The focus of the study was to identify strategies for the production and distribution used by the company as a factor of competitiveness. Using primary and secondary data, it was possible to define the parameters of competitiveness of the company, and the characterization of the industry.
