The occurence of feline domestics fractures it is increasing at veterinary medicine, then a retrospective study was performed about feline fractures occurence from 2007 to 2014, in University of Marília-SP. For this porpouse, was analyzed clinical records and radiographic reports, with identification and statistics variables, radiographic and surgical. Thirty six records were evaluated, with 67% of fractures occurring in young male cats, and 89% were caused by car acidentes. The fêmur was the bone most affected and osteossynthesis was chosen at 56% of cases. So it was possible caracterize the occurrence of fractures in domest felines. |
