Physiological quality of corn seeds reinoculated with diazotrophic bacteria Sci. Agrar.Paran. / SAP
Sousa, Ricardo Felipe Braga; Guimarães, Vandeir Francisco; Pinto Jr., Artur Soares; Costa, Andréia Cristina Peres Rodrigues; Offemann, Luiz Claudio; Fuchs, Felipe; Coelho, Gustavo Ferreira.
This work aimed to evaluate physiological characteristics of corn seeds provenient from cultivation associated with Azospirillum brasilense and Herbaspirillum seropedicae and reinoculated with Azospirillum brasilense. The seeds were coming from cultivation in field conditions, and the treatments were: T1 - control; T2 - 60 kg hectare-1 N, T3 - inoculation (Azospirillum brasilense - AbV5); T4 - inoculation (Azospirillum brasilense) + 60 kg hectare-1 N; T5 - inoculation (Herbaspirillum seropedicae - SMR1) and T6 - inoculation (Herbaspirillum seropedicae) + 60 kg hectare-1 N. The treatments were divided in two separate blocks, being one reinoculated with A. brasilense (AbV5). The experimental design was completely randomized, in factorial scheme (6x2), being...

Mortality and motility of Meloidogyne incognita in aqueous extract of rosemary Sci. Agrar.Paran. / SAP
Muller, Mônica Anghinoni; Mioranza, Thaísa Muriel; Fuchs, Felipe; Batisttus, André Gustavo; Stangarlin, José Renato; Kuhn, Odair José.
Nematodes, especially Meloidogyne sp., are hard to control due their aggressiveness and the lack of products registered for this purpose. Therefore, the objective of this work was to evaluate the in vitro nematicide / nematostatic potential of 1%, 5% and 10% of aqueous extract of Rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) against M. incognita. The experiment was conducted in the Nematology Laboratory of Unioeste, Marechal Cândido Rondon, Paraná State. The experimental design was completely randomized, with four treatments, using three concentrations of aqueous extract of rosemary and water as control treatment, with five replicates each. Motility and mortality of second stage juveniles (J2) were evaluated after 24 and 48 h, respectively. The rosemary extract showed...
