| The tobacco drying greenhouses, in general, are made without any coating that ensures thermal insulation and avoid heat losses, resulting in a large consumption of firewood during the drying of the tobacco. The study aims to develop an economically viable project to the producer, to avoid excessive heat loss through the walls and ceiling of a tobacco dryer, aimed at fuel economy, reduced drying time and reduces costs in process. | Growing strawberries is a great alternative for family farms, it is possible to obtain a good financial return on a small property. | Biodiesel is produced from vegetable oils, animal fats and waste oils and fats. This is a newer experience, because in 2004 the National Program for Production and Use of Biodiesel (NPPB) was created by the Ministry of Agrarian Development (MDA), but released only in 2005. | The objective of this study was to verify the separation of soybean seed lots according tovigor levels by the rapid ethanol test follow ing the adapted ethylometer method. The design used was entirely randomized, with four repetitions. The treatments consisted of five soybean seed lots, which were submitted to germination tests, first germination count, accelerated aging, field emergence, and electrical conductivity and ethanol measurement test. To measure ethanol, 50 soybean seeds were placed in plastic bottles containing 50 mL of distilled water, then placed in a BOD incubator for different temperatures and exposure times. O potássio atua na ativação de algumas enzimas e desempenha um papel importante no equilíbrio de água nas plantas. O presente trabalho teve como objetivo correlacionar os níveis de fósforo e potássio com a produtividade em arroz irrigado, bem como avaliar a viabilidade do uso de agricultura de precisão em área de arroz irrigado. | The need to rationalize the use of fertilizers and other chemicals, and financial resources has generated, increasingly, research in order to describe the spatial variability of soil properties in crops. This study aimed to study the spatial organization of soil properties in a wheat seed production field in an area of 11 ha in Lavras do Sul, RS, Brazil.
