Doses and forms of Azospirillum brasilense inoculation on maize crop AGRIAMBI
Santini,José M. K.; Buzetti,Salatiér; Teixeira Filho,Marcelo C. M.; Galindo,Fernando S.; Coaguila,Daniel N.; Boleta,Eduardo H. M..
ABSTRACT In search of a more sustainable agriculture, the use of beneficial microorganisms has been highlighted, because they are low-cost and can reduce the use of fertilizers and increase grain yield. The present study aimed to evaluate the efficiency of A. brasilense inoculation and the best form and dose of inoculation in maize, measuring the impact on some physical characteristics and on its nutrition. The experiment was conducted in a greenhouse, in Ilha Solteira, SP, Brazil, in a completely randomized design, with four replicates and eight treatments: 1) control; 2) Seed 1x; 3) Seed 2x; 4) Soil 1x; 5) Soil 2x; 6) Leaf 1x; 7) Leaf 2x; 8) Seed 1x + Leaf 1x, respectively representing in each treatment the site and dose of application (1x, dose...

Irrigated wheat subjected to inoculation with Azospirillum brasilense and nitrogen doses as top-dressing AGRIAMBI
Alves,Cleiton J.; Arf,Orivaldo; Ramos,Ane F.; Galindo,Fernando S.; Nogueira,Lais M.; Rodrigues,Ricardo A. F..
ABSTRACT The use of Azospirillum brasilense in the wheat crop still presents contradictory results; thus, it is necessary to identify ideal conditions to obtain satisfactory results. The objective of this study was to investigate the interaction between Azospirillum brasilense and nitrogen doses in a wheat cultivar, conducted with irrigation in the Cerrado region of Mato Grosso do Sul. The experimental design was randomized blocks with a 4 x 2 factorial scheme, four nitrogen doses (0, 40, 80 and 120 kg ha-1) applied as top-dressing, associated or not with inoculation of wheat seeds with Azospirillum brasilense. The results show that there was no interaction between N and inoculation. The isolated effect of Azospirillum brasilense promotes an increase in...

Do the application forms and doses of boron affect wheat crops? AGRIAMBI
Galindo,Fernando S.; Teixeira Filho,Marcelo C. M.; Buzetti,Salatiér; Boleta,Eduardo H. M.; Rodrigues,Willian L.; Rosa,Alexandre R. M..
ABSTRACT Boron is one of the most limiting micronutrients in the grain production system in Brazil. Thus, the objective of this study was to evaluate the effects of the application forms and doses of boron on the concentration of this nutrient in the leaves, straw, and grains of wheat, as well as the production components and grain yield. The residual effect of boron in the soil was also evaluated. An experiment was conducted in a no-tillage system in Oxisol with clay texture in Selvíria, Mato Grosso do Sul. The experimental design was a randomized block design with four replicates arranged in a 4 x 3 factorial scheme. Four doses of boron (0, 1, 2, and 4 kg ha-1) were applied with a boric acid source (B = 17%) and three application forms: a) during the...

Yield and quality of soybean seeds inoculated with Bacillus subtilis strains AGRIAMBI
Tavanti,Tauan R.; Tavanti,Renan F. R.; Galindo,Fernando S.; Simões,Isadora; Dameto,Larissa S.; Sá,Marco E. de.
ABSTRACT The use of growth-promoting bacteria can increase the yield and quality of seeds of several annual crops, such as soybean. Based on that, the present study aimed to evaluate the effects of the inoculation of Bacillus subtilis strains on seed treatment, evaluating the yield and quality of seeds of two soybean cultivars. The experiment was conducted in a conventional system, in an Oxisol of clayey texture, in a crop under sprinkler irrigation. The experimental design was randomized blocks, arranged in split plots with four repetitions. Treatments were composed, in the plots, of two soybean cultivars: M7110 IPRO and Brasmax Desafio RR. Within the levels of subplots, the treatments consisted of inoculation and doses of inoculant: Bacillus subtilis...

Technical and economic viability of co-inoculation with Azospirillum brasilense in soybean cultivars in the Cerrado AGRIAMBI
Galindo,Fernando S.; Teixeira Filho,Marcelo C. M.; Buzetti,Salatier; Ludkiewicz,Mariana G. Z.; Rosa,Poliana A. L.; Tritapepe,Caio A..
ABSTRACT Biological nitrogen fixation (BNF) efficiency can be increased by co-inoculation with bradyrhizobia and Azospirillum brasilense, allowing even greater uptake of water and nutrients, leading to higher yields. Thus, this study aimed to evaluate the technical and economic viability of soybean in the Cerrado, according to the cultivars and co-inoculation with Azospirillum brasilense. The experiment was conducted in Selvíria, MS, in no-tillage system, in Oxisol, arranged in a randomized block design in a 2 x 2 factorial scheme with two cultivars (‘Potência’ and ‘Valiosa’), with and without co-inoculation with Azospirillum brasilense in the seed. Co-inoculation with A. brasilense increases grain yield in the cultivars ‘Potência’ and ‘Valiosa’, being...

Modes of application of cobalt, molybdenum and Azospirillum brasilense on soybean yield and profitability AGRIAMBI
Galindo,Fernando S.; Teixeira Filho,Marcelo C. M.; Buzetti,Salatier; Santini,José M. K.; Ludkiewicz,Mariana G. Z.; Baggio,Guilherme.
ABSTRACT The use of cobalt (Co) and molybdenum (Mo) along with the co-inoculation with Azospirillum brasilense on soybean can contribute to biological nitrogen fixation (BNF), allowing higher yields. Thus, this work aimed to study the technical and economic viability of soybean in the Cerrado, according to the mode of application of Co + Mo, and seed or leaf co-inoculation with Azospirillum brasilense. The experiment was conducted in Selvíria-MS, in a no-tillage system in an Oxisol, arranged in a randomized block design with six treatments (seed application of two treatments with Co + Mo, with or without inoculation with A. brasilense, respectively; Foliar application of Co + Mo at soybean V3 stage; Foliar application of Co + Mo together with A. brasilense...

Does the nitrogen application associated with Azospirillum brasilense inoculation influence corn nutrition and yield? AGRIAMBI
Souza,Elton M. de; Galindo,Fernando S.; Teixeira Filho,Marcelo C. M.; Silva,Paulo R. T. da; Santos,Arthur C. dos; Fernandes,Guilherme C..
ABSTRACT The aim of this study was to investigate the synergistic effect between inoculation with Azospirillum brasilense and nitrogen application, thus enabling a higher efficiency of nitrogen fertilization, as evaluated by nutritional value, components production, and grain yield of irrigated corn. The experiment was conducted in Selvíria, MS, Brazil, under a no-till system, on an Oxisol in the Brazilian Cerrado. The experiment was set up in a randomized block design with four replications, in a 4 × 2 factorial arrangement: four patterns of nitrogen application [application of 30 kg ha-1 of N at sowing and 150 kg ha-1 as cover (30 + 150); 30 kg ha-1 of N at sowing, split into two applications of 75 kg ha-1 as cover (30 + 75 + 75); 180 kg ha-1 of N at...
