The drill samples collected during the Térébel expedition show some interesting characteristics. First, these samples have been taken from the sedimentary cover at depths of around 40 m, never attained through classical drillings in this area of the Mediterranean Sea; secondly, they have been the focus of a shared study between different disciplines. It seemed interesting to gather in a synthetic chapter the paleoclimatic results provided by palynology, the study of argillaceous minerals and planktonic foraminiferae.
