Mulčování je přirozený přírodní proces, který se člověk naučil napodobit a stala se z něj uznávaná a účinná ochrana zemědělských plodin. Mulčem bývá většinou organický materiál, kterým pokrýváme povrch půdy v určité vrstvě. Použití mulče u ekologicky pěstovaných brambor mělo pozitivní vliv na nižší aktivitu kladení vajíček a následný výskyt larev mandelinky bramborové u rostlinného mulče, na nižší zaplevelení u černé mulčovací textilie, na zvýšení výnosu konzumních hlíz o 6,7 až 7,7 t/ha při použití rostlinného mulče (v porovnání s nemulčovanou kontrolou), trend ke zlepšení obsahu vitamínu C a kyseliny chlorogenové u hlíz pěstovaných pod mulčovací textilií a rostlinným mulčem. |

Until now, a wide range of laboratory approaches has been employed for control of organic food quality and authenticity. In addition to widely used light isotope measurement based methods, various spectroscopic and/or chromatographic have been traditionally used for quantification of nutritionally important and biologically active single constituents typical for particular food crop. In this workshop, we will summarize the results of the QLIF project on food safety issues. The participants discuss safety problems related to organic and low input standards and techniques for both animal and plant products. They will relate the findings to consumers’ perception and concern. Improved production and processing techniques will be suggested. |

Předložená metodika slouží k objektivnímu posouzení celkové mykotoxinové kontaminace obilovin pro potravinářské využití. Vlastní klíčící test spočívá v přípravě vzorků a uvolnění vázaných forem mykotoxinů v zrnu. Druhou částí je stanovení DON, D3G, 3‐/15‐ ADON v připraveném vzorku naklíčeného zrna pomocí vysokoúčinné kapalinové chromatografie ve spojení s vysokorozlišovací hmotnostní detekcí (U‐HPLC‐HRMS). Obě části metodiky tvoří jeden celek, lze je ale využít i samostatně pro stanovení ve dvou následných krocích v různých laboratořích. |

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of the way of celeriac cultivation on the content of naturally occurring toxicants - furanocoumarins. Their levels have been shown to be strongly affected by an individual variety and also fertilization method. Organic farming using anaerobically fermented pig slurry was compared with mineral, combined, and non-fertilized farming. The climatic conditions in particular crop years play an important role in the furanocoumarins occurrence. |
