This report aims to review and analyse one year of research undertaken for the study on the economic effects induced by marine small-scale fisheries based on a case study in Lower Normandy. This study benefited from Ifremer's research incentive fund from 1 November 1984 to 31 October 1985. This study was part of the broader research programme of the Fisheries Economy Laboratory of the Agricultural Engineering School (ENSA) in Rennes on the inter- and intra-regional analysis of economic effects induced by small-scale regional marine fisheries. This study offers a concrete example of this line of research in Lower Normandy. The results obtained by the end of one year of research are presented here.
