Technological innovation is a precursor for sustainable development of the Brazilian agriculture and the adoption of technologies is a crucial condition for this process. Based on this premise, the first ?International Symposium on Agricultural Technology Adoption (ISATA): studies, methods and experiences? was conceived. The proposal of this event arose from the need to advance the discussions on the issue of technology adoption, especially from the perspective of farmers and the context in which they operate.
