Ayutthaya Rice Research Center responsibility rice areas in Ayutthaya and Angthong provinces during 2011-2012 were 1,010,000 rai. Ayutthaya Rice Research Center focus on varietal development for rainfed rice, ,deep water rice and floating rice and varietal development for Irrigated lowland rice and through seed production and transfer technology to farmer. The Royal project were main 3 projects in Ayutthaya and Angthong provinces. 1. Sri buathong royal project in Angthong provinces 2. Nong Jedsent royal project in Angthong provinces and 3. Research investigated riceseed production by participation of farmer group and seed production recommended by the Department of Rice in comparison with rice seed production by Ban Ma -Tub Nam community enterprise in Bangpahun district of Auyutthaya province. The experiment conducted in dry season 2011 in collaboration with three farmer representatives. Research focused on rice seed quality and economic returns. For rice seed quality, seed production recommended by Rice Department was about thesame quality as seed production by participation of activefarmer groups and quality was higher than seed production commonly practiced by farmers where it produced more number of mixed with other rice varieties and red rice seeds. Effect of water management to emission methane gas in Lopburi Rice Research Center dry season in 2014. Under Development of Alternative Technologies for Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction and Information System for Decision Support of Policy Maker Project was experimental by Randomized Complete Block (RCB) 3 Replications to compare greenhouse gas emission from 3 Alternative Wet and Dry (AWD) with -10, -15, -20 cm water level and continuous irrigation method. Results showed that Lopburi Rice Research Center was sandy loam soil and AWD irrigation with -10 to -20 cm water level was 27 – 31 % water saving with comparative continuous irrigation method. The cultivation of white rice with high amylose content in its starch is also widely done in the irrigated rice field in the Central Plain.
