The objective of this study was to evaluate five half-moist diets with graded levels of chemical fish silage (40, 50, 60, 70 and 80 %) prepared with 2 % sulfuric acid 98 % (weigth/volumen), as a unique animal protein source. They were compared with a commercial food (20 % of fish meal), Clarias gariepinus feeding during 60 days. The experimental design was completely randomized and the statistical analysis of the results was done through analysis of variance and the results were compared through the Duncan test at 5 %. The results showed that indicators such as: growth, feed utilization and survival rate did not differ significantly (p > 0,05) between experiment diets, representing between $188,00 and 302, 00 USD/t saving at fingerling. |
