| Berberis laurina Billb. (Berberidaceae) is a native shrub from Floresta Ombrófila Mista ecological formation, very ornamental and useful specie for recovery of degraded areas. With medical applications, its fruit is edible and its roots are used as dye. This paper aims to analyze lhe induction of lhe rooting of Berberis laurina stem cuttings employing indolebutyric acid (IBA) in O, 1000 and 2000 mgL-1 concentrations, using the vermiculite as growing medium.
