| The study aimed to comparatively evaluate the partition of assimilates between biometrics and two cultivars of pepper over the crop cycle. Plants were collected from the fourteenth day after transplanting (DAT) at regular intervals of fourteen days after the transplant by the end of the crop cycle. Evaluations were made of dry leaves (Wf), stem (WC), root (WR), fruit (WFR) and the rate of dry matter production of leaves (Cf), stem (CC), root (Cr), fruit (CFR), number of leaves and plant height. The cultivar Vulcão presented a higher allocation of dry matter in leaf, stem and root, but the Doce gave a higher dry matter accumulation in fruit which is the part of commercial interest. |
