Six species of the genus Gnathia (Crustacea: Isopoda: Gnathiidea) are recorded from the Caribbean Sea of northern Colombia. Gnathia gonzalezi n. sp., Gnathia magdalenensis n. sp., Gnathia samariensis n. sp., and Gnathia vellosa n. sp. are described; Gnathia beethoveni Paul & Menzies, 1971 and Gnathia virginalis Monod, 1926 are redescribed and recorded for the first time from Colombia. The Gnathiidea of the Caribbean Sea and Gulf of Mexico are reviewed.

Eleven species of shallow-water Pycnogonida, one of which ( Anoplodactylus justi n. sp.) new to science, are recorderd from Barbados, Lesser Antilles. Endeis nodosa HILTON, 1942, is new to the Atlantic Ocean. An additional description of this species and of Anoplodactylus arcuatus CHILD, 1977 is given.

Based on material collected in the Santa Marta area, Caribbean Sea of Colombia, three species of paranthurid isopods (Crustacea) are redescribed: Colanthura tenuis Richardson, 1902, Minyanthura corallicola Kensley, 1982, and Paranthura infundibulata Richardson, 1902.

The first contribution to the isopod family Joeropsidae from the Society Islands is given. All of the four species reported herein, Joeropsis gertrudae n. sp., J. minutus n. sp., J. polynesiensis n. sp., and J. salvati n. sp., are new to science. These species occur only at locations with more or less strong wave exposition. The affinities of polynesian Joeropsidae to the other members of Joeropsis are discussed.

Metacirolana agaricicola Kensley, 1984 from the Caribbean Sea of Colombia is redescribed, with particular reference to its sexual dimorphism. Metacirolana agujae n. sp., known only from Colombia, is decribed. The interspecific affinities of both species are discussed and notes on their habits are given.

The male of Corinna melloi (Schenkel, 1953) is redescribed and the female is described for the first time. Falconia Schenkel, 1953 is considered to be a junior synonym of Corinna C.L. Koch, 1842. The species is new to Colombia.
