| Die Bio-Weizenqualität gibt immer wieder Anlass zur regen Diskussionen. Die Laborresultate aus den Streifenversuchen des Jahres 2005 waren zum Teil ungenügend. Erste Diskussionen zeigten, dass es unklar ist, was zur Verbesserungen der Bio-Weizenqualität getan werden muss. Am Arbeitstreffen im März 2006 waren sich alle beteiligten Fachleute (Beratung, Forschung und Müller) einig, dass die Hintergründe für die ungenügende Bio Weizenqualität genauer untersucht werden müssen. Ziel war es herauszufinden, welche Faktoren die Bio-Weizenqualität beeinflussen. |

| The demand for cold-pressed organic rapeseed oil is increasing. However, the organic rape cultivation is challenging, especially various pests can cause problems. This leaflet provides some general information about the cultivation of rape. Different topics about rape varieties and their needs, the right crop rotation and weed management are covered. Additionally, the main part covers the various pests and provides strategies to control them. It is shown how the pests can be detected, and which preventive and direct are proven and permitted. Finally, there is also some information about economic aspects. This leaflet was made for farmers want to begin cultivating organic rape, but it might also be of use to conventional farmers. | Well-treated manure is crucial for good soil fertility. However, the treatment requires effort that not all farmers are willing to make. The leaflet first lists some reasons why it is worth the effort. There is a short overview of different types of manure and of how they are formed. Additionally, their advantages and disadvantages are listed. The leaflet also contains a theoretical part about the stages in the composting process. Finally, there is a list of tips for treating manure on a farm. The information helps making rotted manure or manure compost. The leaflet might be interesting for all farmers who want to start or improve manure treatment. It can be used by organic and conventional farmers. |
