BIOCLIMATIC CHARACTERIZATION OF AN EXPERIMENTAL SHED BROILER CREATION IN THE REGION OF DIAMANTINA-MG Engenharia na Agricultura
Dalólio, Felipe Santos; Moreira, Joerley; Coelho, Diogo José de Rezende; Souza, Cecília de Fátima.
The objective of this study was to evaluate the bioclimatic conditions of an experimental shed broiler Federal University of Vales do Jequitinhonha and Mucuri (UFVJM) in JK campus in Diamantina, MG. The assessment was made based on the measurement of environmental variables of air temperature, relative humidity, black globe temperature and air velocity within the facility, in 42-day trial. With the collected data we calculated the temperature and humidity index (THI), the black globe temperature and humidity index (BGTHI), the radiation heat load (RHL) and the enthalpy index (Hº). The performance was evaluated at 42 days of age the broiler chickens through the parameters live weight (LW), average daily gain weight (ADGW), feed intake (FI), feed conversion...

Heat stress and vitamin E in diets for broilers as a mitigating measure Animal Sciences
Dalólio, Felipe Santos; Albino, Luiz Fernando Teixeira; Lima, Héder José D`avilla; Silva, Jadir Nogueira da; Moreira, Joerley.
This review aimed to identify the importance of vitamin E dietary supplementation to broilers subjected to heat stress in relation to metabolism, growth performance and quality of animal products and its effects on immune system. Vitamin E is the concentration of tocopherol and tocotrienol, which can be found in natural or synthetic form. This vitamin is essential for the integrity of reproductive, muscular, circulatory, nervous and immune systems of the animals. In order to reduce the harmful effects of high temperatures in poultry production, vitamin E supplementation is a viable alternative for the sector. Some studies indicate its potential antioxidant effect able to modulate inflammatory responses and physiological adjustments to mitigate the...

Digestible lysine for broilers from different commercial strains in the final phase Animal Sciences
Dalólio, Felipe Santos; Moreira, Joerley; Vaz, Diego Pereira; Albino, Luiz Fernando Teixeira; Nunes, Ricardo Vianna; Dessimoni, Gabriel Villela.
This study aimed to evaluate different digestible lysine levels in diets for broilers chickens from different commercial strains, from 49 to 56 days of age, on performance and carcass characteristics. A total of 432 male broilers from 49 days old were used, with an average weight of 3560±250 g. It was used a completely randomized design in a factorial arrangement 3x4, and the birds, from three strains (Cobb 500, Hubbard Flex and Ross 308) were divided into four levels of digestible lysine (0.800, 0.950, 1.100 and 1.250%), with four replicates of 12 birds each. It was evaluated the weight gain, feed intake, feed conversion ratio, carcass yield, breast yield, breast meat yield and the yield of the thigh and drumstick. There was no interaction between lysine...
