| The MarHa Life project coordinated by the Office Français de la Biodiversité aims at restoring and/or maintaining the good ecological status of natural marine habitats in France. As part of this project, my mission was to statistically model the spatial distribution of zostera seagrass beds (Zostera marina and Zostera noltei) along the French Atlantic and English Channel coastline. A first objective was to assess results sensitivity to the modelling approach and in particular to the type of model used (GLM, RF, BRT) so as to characterize the performance of the method and to identify the best-suited models.
