| Limited supply of good quality seeds is a major concern for a public sector. Model development of integrated seed production by farmers in Surin province is a project that aims to educate farmers about an appropriate technology for seed production and also marketing skill. The project was carried out in 2013 at Changpi sub-district, Sri Korabhum district, Surin province. There were 8 farmers participating in this project. Seeds of KDML105 from the Rice Department were used. Seedlings were transplanted using a transplanter. Field inspection to remove all those contaminated plants were conducted twice following the recommendation of the Rice Department.
