Traditional aromatic rice is well known for its jasmine aroma of cooked rice and well adaptations under the variation of paddy field conditions in northeast Thailand. The objectives of this study were to evaluate the agronomic characteristic and reaction of the selected traditional aromatic rice to important diseases. The experimental design was randomized complete Block composed of 4 replications, during wet season 2013, at Sakon Nakhon Rice Research Center. Ten rice cultivars were tested compared with 4 standard checks such as Khao Dawk Mali 105, RD6, RD15 and Sakon Nakhon.
