| The collection on which the present report is based was submitted to me for study by Mr. Edward Jacobson of The Hague, Holland. To prevent needless repetition the collector’s name has been omitted from the tabulations of the specimens, it being understood that all of the material was secured by Mr. Jacobson, while from the same reason only the exactly localities are given, all being on the island of Java. The first set of the material remains in the collection of the Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia, the remainder being returned to Mr. Jacobson, whom we wish to thank for the opportunity to study the collection. |
