| This report aims to put into light the present situation of the regulation regarding great cetacean hunt as pointed out by the studies carried out by the different governments who agreed on the necessity to implement some general regulations for the protection of marine species and especially the species providing important incomes to the developing industries. This talk will first deal with the regulations implemented by the French government in its colonies and the way France will cooperate with the international studies carried out on this issue - Then we will consider the works of the Whaling Committee within the International Council for the Exploitation of Oceans and how Norway continued these works - And finally, we will describe the agreement... |
