This paper presents, assessment of cost-benefit parameters of conservation agricultural machinery for custom hires entrepreneurship development in southern region of Bangladesh. The key principles of the study were to determine the economic parameters for developing a CA (conservation agriculture) machine custom hire entrepreneurship and effective schedules for CA machine operation. Field experiments were conducted at Dumuria, Wazirpur, Subarnachar and Kolapara Upazila (Sub-district) of Khulna, Barishal, Noakhali and Patuakhali districts, respectively in the southern region of Bangladesh in the years 2017 and 2018. The mechanization status of dairy farming in Bangladesh is not mentionable. In every steps of the farming operation, indigenous systems have been practiced in most of the farms. This study has been conducted to assess mechanization status in dairy farming. The selected areas of this study were Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) dairy farm, Mymensingh, Rural Development Academy (RDA) dairy farm, Bogra and four small, four medium and two large farms in Sirajganj district. Effectiveness of a solar grain dryer for drying paddy seed in Bangladesh CIGR Journal

Proper and timely drying is needed for producing quality paddy seed. Open sun drying is often produced seed with foreign materials.  Solar dryer produced by science for society (S4S), India might be suitable for country like Bangladesh. Therefore, an attempt was taken to evaluate S4S seed dryer at the Workshop, Department of Farm Power and Machinery, Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh. In this experiment, the spatial and temporal distribution of temperature and moisture in S4S solar grain dryer was investigated and the seed quality was also evaluated.
