This project has the goal of providing ecological awareness to students from Ramão Gomes Portão State School. This school is located in periphery of the city of Guaratinguetá. In this region there are three small streams connected to Cacunda Creek that further connects to Paraíba do Sul River, which is the main river of this city. Field research has been used as a way to stimulated students to develop ecological sense, since the problems had been presented to them and their solutions depend on student’s actions. Considering that they are living in the area, they are also polluting agents of those streams.
