Este trabalho objetivou estudar os efeitos do ácido giberélico (GA3) sobre o alongamento de brotos de mamoeiro 'Tainung 01' em meio de multiplicação in vitro e posterior enraizamento ex vitro. Brotações com menos de 1 cm de comprimento foram submetidas ao alongamento em meio MS contendo GA3, nos seguintes tratamentos, em mg L-1: T1 = 0,0; T2 = 0,5 esterilizado junto com o meio de cultura; T3 = 0,5 esterilizado a frio; T4 = 2,0 esterilizado junto com o meio de cultura; T5 = 2,0 esterilizado a frio. Após esses tratamentos, as brotações foram submetidas ao enraizamento ex vitro. Observou-se que o GA3 nos níveis 0,5 e 2,0 mg L-1, utilizado após autoclavagem em meio de multiplicação, não se mostrou efetivo para o alongamento dos ramos, mas quando esterilizado... |

Abstract In Brazil, the main cultivated passion fruit species is Passiflora edulis, which is affected by Fusarium soil fungus. P. mucronata species stands out because it presents resistance to this fungus, being thus an alternative rootstock to yellow passion fruit. Therefore, the aim of this study was to evaluate the anatomy of mini-grafting by top cleft grafting and simple English type grafting, using shoot tips of adult P. edulis plants in clonal rootstocks of P. mucronata. Abstract The cultivation of papaya under greenhouse has become recently a profitable alternative for horticultural crops in different regions of the world, among them South East Spain. The objective of this work was to determine the sample size to evaluate fruit quality features in mature fruits of ‘BH-65’ papaya cultivated under greenhouse in Almería (Spain). With this aim, fruits were harvested at stage 2 in July 2013, and at the end of the production cycle in March 2014.
