| In recent years, the Brazilian production of beans (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) has stood out due to the increase in productivity and Paraná has great representativeness in the national context of the product, making relevant the analysis of the economic aspects associated with its production. Thus, this article aimed to present studies associated with the economics of bean production in Paraná, which are the characterization of operating costs and revenues for beans in the black and color group, produced in 1ª and 2ª crops in the period from 2014 to 2018, in 49 production units in the state of Paraná, as well as operating revenues and analysis of grain commercialization margins.
