Última Bio-Schulmilch als Chance für regionale Bio-Molkereien? – dargestellt am Beispiel Berlin Organic Eprints Stiffel, Bettina; Häring, Anna. This paper explores whether regionally produced organic milk has a chance in the Berlin school milk market, i.e. the general offer and the level of acceptance of school milk as well as the opportunities and challenges of critical importance were analysed. Representatives of Berlin’s elementary schools and daycare centres were interviewed about their school milk situation and conclusions are drawn for a potential market entrance of local organic dairies: Daycare centres seem to be a good trading partner for organic dairies, due to their organisational structure and need for pure milk in larger packaging as well as their constant demand.
